What Civena is

Civena is an independent private information and organisation service. It is not a public authority, is not affiliated with the Confederation, any canton or commune, and does not act on their behalf.

Information, not legal advice

Civena explains administrative procedures based on official sources and verified rules. It does not provide legal advice or representation. The competent authority’s information and decisions are always decisive. Check the cited official sources before relying on an answer for an important decision.

No submissions without you

Civena prepares information and links to official services. It does not submit anything to an authority on your behalf. A step is marked as completed only when you mark it so.

Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in secure.
• You are responsible for the content you upload and must have the right to upload it.
• Do not use Civena for unlawful purposes, automated scraping or attempts to access other users’ data.

Plans and payment

The free plan has monthly limits shown on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe for the chosen period and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in Settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. Price changes apply from the next period and are announced in advance.

Availability

Civena aims for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. If the AI provider is unavailable, rule-based features continue to work.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Civena’s liability for slight negligence is excluded. Liability for intent and gross negligence remains unaffected.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. Civena may suspend accounts that seriously breach these terms.

Governing law
