Is Civena an official government service?
No. Civena is an independent private service. It cites official sources and links to official services, but it is not affiliated with the Confederation, a canton or a commune.
How accurate are the answers?
Obligations come from rules verified against official sources, each with a last-verified date. When Civena lacks information or a rule is not verified, the answer says so. For binding decisions, the responsible authority is always decisive.
Does Civena submit forms for me?
Not today. Civena prepares and routes you to the official service. It records a step as done only when you mark it, and stores the authority’s reference number if you enter it.
What happens to my documents?
They are stored privately in your account and used only to explain them and link them to your cases. You can delete them at any time.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. In Settings you can download all your data and documents and delete your account. Deletion removes your cases, documents and profile.
My commune or canton is missing
Civena then shows guidance at canton or federal level and links the official cantonal website. Tell us through the form so we can verify the local authority.
How do I cancel a subscription?
In Settings → Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period, and your data is kept.
